Well, Shaw cable called me with an offer that I just couldn't refuse. One month of cable free, and 6 months at only $10 a month. How could I refuse? I can always cancel at the end of the 6 months.
It's just the basic cable package, and for how little I actually watch TV, I didn't think it was worth paying what I was paying. But $10 a month, how could I refuse? So I will actually be watching the occasional Flames game on the tube, and maybe a movie or 2. With any luck, the package will include A&E or some other channel with a little bit of actual entertainment.
